Green Energy

In really simple terms, conservatives (GOP) are not environmentally-friendly, while liberals (Democrats) are more supportive of environmental protection. Conservatives tend to be more focused on the "drill-baby-drill" mindset, aiming to drill offshore and in Alaska, rather than finding clean, reliable energy sources. Liberals tend to be supportive of environmental protection, and therefore, more reliable when in comes to green energy.

Perry - aims to dramtically cut funding to the EPA
Romney- wants clean energy, but supports domestic drilling
Paul - voted no on all environmental projects presented
Obama - supports clean energy

In my personal oppinion, we need to be doing more to find clean sources of energy. By 2050, we we will be faced with consequences of our actions when a worldwide shortage of oil will force us to make drastic choices about our future. The damage to the environment has been done, and it will only get worse unless we finally find a clean, reliable source of energy. Time is running out.
