Stem Cell Research

For my topic that I plan to follow for the term I’ve picked Stem cell research. There is an abundance of information with regards to the future it holds for medical treatment and research. The biological potential for treatments ais numerous for the diseases it can cure and ailments it can treat. With all of the benefits that can we can come to gain from Stem cells there are also several controversies which apply to ethical issues. The most recent action taken to advance the field of Stem Cell research came in 2009 through President Obama which appropriates some finding for the field and legislation to support the research itself. Hopefully over the course of the school new developments will make some head way for further advances and other federal provisions to better those in need of stem cell treatments.
