Link!!! This website talks about the controversy in 2001 when Gearge Bush issued issued an executive order allowing military courts to try terrorists instead of civilian courts. Poeple argue that the accused could have their civil rights violated in a court with lower evidence standards than the civilian courtand may be placed with an unappealable death sentance. Others argue that terrorosts are no longer part of U.S society. Therefore they do not deserve the protections of the constitution. I agreee that people involved with terrorism don;t deserve cit anyway.

Another controversy is the president's constsitutional authority to conduct military operationsagainsts terrorists and nations supporting them. I think the president should be able to send troops to a nation premitively to immediatly be able to defend our nation. I agree that Comgress should decide to let them stay after certain amount of time. link!!!
