Red Vs Blue and Homeland Security

When a nations protections comes into question it seems pretty one sided or so you would think. Homeland Securities number one goal is to protect the country as a whole from foreign and domestic enemies. Lately however there methods on how to protect us do to the patriot act has caused diversion amongst the support for Homeland Security. The Democrats feel that Homeland Security oversteps that fine line that there interrogations and spying on our citizens is going to far, and the founding fathers would never do such a terrible thing. While the Republicans feel this invasive invasion of privacy is necessary to keep our nation strong and to allow the rest of us to live with out the fear of terror. However I and most feel sorta down the the middle i agree it is necessary the interrogations and the listening devises to hear for potential threats although Homeland security does oversteps its bound it is nothing new. Bill Clinton had prisoners tortured in other countries so we wouldn't have too. Nixon had listening devices and spies all over looking for commies. What they are doing is nothing new the only difference is we know its going on now.
